i also have some photos of a project i have been working on-we are preparing to re-decorate our dining room and i want bright funky patterns in it, like a tiki bar/hawaiian theme. we bought these plain white chairs for 99p from ebay so with some tester pots of paint i had i decided to have a go at sprucing them up. im just waiting for the hubby to finishing varnishing them now.

i spent nearly all day yesterday in the craft room with maddie-she loved the freedom and discovered my punches and glitter paper (i dont know if this was a good idea), we had the radio on-singing, bowl of sweets and our bottles of juice. i flitted between working on my altered home, family and travel books. i also had chance to update the girls baby record books. here are some of my pages;

my requirements were flowers, bunting, cute posters, fairy lights and garlands. the pompom garland on my shelf was made yesterday-the in-laws bought me the 1 direction mega poster.

sorry all-but as a family we have been going through a real tough time at present so that explains the lack of updates, my craft room aka the garage is nearly finished well minus a door. the girls love it and have been putting up their fave posters and drawings on their side of the room. the first thing i did was to start painting flowers on my wall and i loved recreating memo boards from taped areas on the walls.

On saturday, i went to my monthly crop and had yet another fabtastic day-i managed to complete 11 pages in total and got lots of nice comments about my books so far. These comments mean alot to me as all the crafters in our crop have differing styles-mine is a tad wacky but very FUN!!!! will post some more pics asap.....

this is my altered home book-i have about 4 on the go and plans for starting approx another 2 atm. im really into these books and have never found junk mail and leaflets was exciting!!!!
