its my mother in laws birthday 2moz and we cant really afford a pressie at present (pardon the pun!) so maddie and i made some biscuits, betty and daddy decorated the inexpensive ikea jar with stickers and ribbons. we r proud of the results....

so sorry for not blogging over the last few weeks but ive been soooooo busy! Betty turned 2 on the 25th, my father-in law has had his hernia operation and my sis is moving AGAIN into her new house.
Despite having lots of bad days, ive been trying to make the most of spending time with my girls and of course DARREN.
Betty is starting to put sentences together and is turning into a mini Maddie all the while. Maddie is growing up too quickly and so is her attitude-the back chatting and strops (and she is only 4!!!!).


My craft room has been put on the back burner for now -as i knew it would! Darrens list of jobs to do around the house is getting longer and we have no time together to begin them.

anyway, enough moaning im off to watch the girls playing together.....

ive had a busy last few days and have an even busier weekend planned-so im blogging whilst i can. Saturday was her 35th birthday and i spent most of the day with the girls as they are usually with their grandparents on a saturday. we took them to see yogi bear at the cinema. considering that it was bettys first time at the cinema she was so well behaved and loved having her picnic. she was mesmorised by the size of the screen.

saturday night, we met up with my mom, dad and sis and went to our local chinese for a meal. it was my dads first time there and we had such a laugh. we had bought a cake for my parents as it was their 40th wedding anni 2 weeks ago-as the cake was presented the staff and fellow diners started to sing "happy birthday" to me, so i had to explain that even though i was wearing a birthday sash and tiara it was in fact an anni cake.

Sunday was spent taking my sis houseware shopping as she moves into her new abode in a few days.

Monday or Valentines day, darren and i went to Starcity in B'ham to watch "gnomeo and juliet"-what a fab film it was-i was very happy watching the film with the love of my life and my pick n mix-hehe. after the film, we went into the arcade and i was lucky on 1 of the grabber machines and the deal or no deal game.

On saturday after our crop i took Darren to Dobbies for a coffee date and plus i could look at the craft section of the garden centre too. i was surprised to see that they had a 50% off section and found some treasures- the stickers were £1 and the brads were £1.49.

they have a new collection coming out featuring cupcakes but hadnt got much of the set there, except a book of mini notelets for £1-super cute.

HOORAY-i have finally finished my christmas journal/scrapbook at the weekends crop. im so pleased to of completed a project as many of us start one project and rarely finish it before beginning another. i have taken a few piccies of some of my fave pages.......

I had a nice surprise off the postman on fri morning-a beautiful and rather cute pet inspired gift from some of the many comps i enter. it included a 12" x 12" paper stack, sheet of embellished stickers and a pack of gummies (3D stickers).

Also, i came across a good bargain in ASDA down the cereal aisle-a 6 pack of small really useful boxes for £2.
