HOORAY-i have finally finished my christmas journal/scrapbook at the weekends crop. im so pleased to of completed a project as many of us start one project and rarely finish it before beginning another. i have taken a few piccies of some of my fave pages.......

I had a nice surprise off the postman on fri morning-a beautiful and rather cute pet inspired gift from some of the many comps i enter. it included a 12" x 12" paper stack, sheet of embellished stickers and a pack of gummies (3D stickers).

Also, i came across a good bargain in ASDA down the cereal aisle-a 6 pack of small really useful boxes for £2.

Darren and i were supposed to be going to see the Britains got talent auditions this weekend but due to betty and i coming down ill-plans were changed rather quick. After maddie had been out for the day watching "Tangled", she drew us some pictures to make us feel better.

whilst writing this im finally feeling hungry after 2 days being in bed and betty is finally eating too!!

maddies first drawing is of the prince rescuing the princesss from the sea, 2nd being a mommy and baby monkey and the third (and our fave) a lady walking her cat.

we love her drawings for a 4 year old-they are so detailed.

1 of my favourite crafters is the daintysquid and i sent her a little parcel before christmas and she sent me a parcel back-which i wasnt expecting. she sent me 1 of her purses and some rather cute stickers-thankyou kaylah.

OMG-ive been quite productive today as its my only day in the week that i have to myself. i had decided that i wanted to work on my twilight scrapbook as in a few weeks we are off to the next one and didnt want a ton of work to complete before the next.

At 3.30pm, maddie came in from school and lets just say that my workspace was halved and i was soon sharing my stash as she decided that she wanted to decorate a book using MY stickers-how could i say NO! but i did say to her that she was to check with me first before sticking anything down.

whilst looking through some magazines ready for recycling-i came across an article about saving £ by making most of ur christmas pressies. this is an idea that ive thought about for a few years-the lady in the article has made most of her friends/families pressies for £34.

december 31st-minkey is getting into the party spirit with my glowsticks. at midnight we released a lantern into the sky and made wishes upon its release. very magical plus they were lots of other lanterns decorating the skies too.
