long time

well i know i havent blogged for a decade or so it seems-i was asked at a crop last nite when i would blog again so here i am......... life is tough atm with financial difficulties and my health so i havent had time or the funds to go to my monthly crops and due to my health and lack of spave havent done any crafting as such. when maddie has wanted to craft then i will sit and help her.

last nite i went and meet some of the girls at a crop, it was lovely to surround myself with inspiration and creativity. i went to a twilight convention last weekend so have started to alter a twilight annual with my photos and ideas from meeting some of the cast.

the demo was on making buttons from polymer clay or fimo and transferring images onto it too to make keepsakes etc. i will def be having a go at this when im having a good day-thx to donna for the demo and samples.

as for my craft room, still not near to being finished but have written to 60 minute makeover to nominate darren for a makeover of 3 rooms including the garage aka my craft room, im keeping my fingers x but will be very surprised if it happens to you.

anyway, enough of the doom and gloom of my life.....bye for now and happy crafting.....

my list of things that i want to try next is getting bigger but my health is really hindering my love for craft atm-my craft room is still be converting as i blog, the hubby has taken off the garage doors ready to brick up.

Darren and i attended a craft course that was held at our usual craft crop spot and taught by Donna-the pack was included and we had a very detailed brief. Darren set to on his scrapbook page and really enjoyed himself-he went ahead and made his own decisions on designing the page and i learnt some new techniques myself. perhaps we will be able to do more of this together in the future............... photos to follow

the chairs were £1.04 and need repainting, the dressing table was 99p and the nest of 1970s tables were £4.99. i love a good bargain.

here are some photos of darren and my father in law cutting out a

door from the garage for the start of my craft cabin!!! i cant wait as it will be my own area to create and not have to worry about putting things away afterwards.

there are also some photos of the girls in their tent that i bought from ebay-we set up camp in the frontroom as the weather was bad and darren was brick laying outside too. we had so much fun and the girls bonded more together.
