hi,ive just got back from a week in cornwall, relaxed and rested and ready for some serious crafting (if the girls will let me!) some of the shops down there had some beautiful things for the house which i could re-create myself at half the price-using stones and wood. i spent a few hours on perranporth beach searching for flat stones as i had seen some pendants and bookmarks made from them for £10+ but only managed to find 2! st ives gave me alot of inspiration-especially the cath kidston shop which i adore anyway. but i didnt come across many crafting shops though!!

here are photos of 3 of my projects which are completed!!!! the doll is a "you-do" doll that you alter to look like some1-this 1 is of my hubby, the clothes were supplied and you iron their face onto the doll using photo ink paper. so at least i can say that i have altered my hubby!!!
the pink dinosaur took about 20mins to make using a template cut out onthe cricut i made him into a bag charm, hand sewing around the edge of the felt.
the box was bought off ebay for £5 and was a gardeners tool case, which i have painted and added photos too to personalise it. it holds some of my craft tools now.

i had a nice surprise at the weekend as i had won ANOTHER craft competition- a brand new A4 compact trimmer from avery. i remember entering the competition in scrapbook magazine in December.
can't wait to crack it open!!!!

so sorry that i havent blogged for a while but having 2 young girls is taking up all my time and crafting has been put aside for 1 saturday in the month at the mo, when i go to my crop. my hubby is trying to give me more craft time but there is always something else that needs to be done instead!!!
anyway, here are some photos of maddie making her own cards-she adores using my "modge podge" though-our family and friends have enjoyed recieving these homemade cards so far. a budding young crafter for the future im sure!!!
